Staff Accountant This is an in-office position in need of local applicants. JOB SUMMARY:The Staff Accountant must have the ability and knowledge to meet monthly accounting deadlines, complete analysis, research variance discrepancies, and make journal entries for select Balance Sheet and P&L Accounts, in addition to understanding accruals and annual budgeting. Includes other analysis and reports as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Monthly Branch Operating StatementsOperating accounts analyzed, and notes prepared monthlyActual to Budget Variance AnalysisBalance Sheet account reconciliations and analysisJournal entries to record Company’s activityExpense accruals, branch allocations and year-end adjustmentsReview for Annual AuditBank ReconciliationsReports and projects as neededAssist branches with questionsMust be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Well organized person with strong analytical, administrative, and good interpersonal skills.
